Load Report 15 Analyzer

Choose the applicable AMM assessment

Select assessment

What caused Load Report 15?

Choose the event printed in the report. Each branch keeps its own AMM calculation, diagram and required action.

Step 1 of 4

Enter the report details

Use the four-digit code printed in the report. Select the weight branch from the approved load trim sheet, or calculate it from GW and MLW.

Weight category

Calculate the category from GW and MLW
Step 2 of 4

Find the touchdown line

1
The AMM says to find the first two lines showing a sudden VRTA increase.

The touchdown line is immediately before them. Read the trend on your printed report, then enter only the touchdown information below.

Example touchdown is 2S because 3S and 4S are the first sudden-rise pair.
Step 3 of 4

Enter the maximum and minimum VRTA

2
Maximum VRTA

Find the maximum VRTA from the touchdown line through line 0S.

3
Minimum VRTA

Find the minimum VRTA from two lines before touchdown through the maximum-VRTA line.

AMM calculation ΔVRTA = maximum VRTA − minimum VRTA
✓
RALR source

RALR is taken only from the touchdown line. The absolute value is used.

Touchdown RALR confirmed.
…
RALT validity

RALT must be less than 3 ft at the touchdown, maximum and minimum lines.

Complete the maximum and minimum RALT entries.

Step 1 of 4

Confirm the turbulence report

Use this branch only for a 51X0 or 52X0 Load Report 15. The trigger gives a suspected severity; the final colour is calculated later from both VRTA extremes and aircraft weight.

Step 2 of 4

Calculate the aircraft weight percentage

1
Use GW from the event data and the applicable MTOW from the WBM.

GW and MTOW must use the same unit. The analyzer calculates GW ÷ MTOW × 100.

Weight formula %MTOW = (GW ÷ MTOW) × 100
Calculated aircraft weightEnter GW and MTOW%MTOW will select the correct AMM threshold band.
Step 3 of 4

Enter the printed load values

There is no touchdown search in this branch. Read the observing-time summary and enter the maximum and minimum VRTA directly.

2
Maximum VRTA

Use VRTA from “MAX VALUES DURING OBSERVING TIME”.

3
Minimum VRTA

Use VRTA from “MIN VALUES DURING OBSERVING TIME”.

4
Separate lateral-load check

Compare the MAX and MIN LATA entries and enter the largest absolute magnitude. Ignore the plus/minus sign.

How the AMM colour is calculatedEach VRTA extreme is assessed separately
1

Maximum colourCompare maximum VRTA with the upper limits for the calculated %MTOW.

2

Minimum colourCompare minimum VRTA with the lower limits for the calculated %MTOW.

3

Final colourUse the more severe result: Red > Amber > Green.

4

Lateral check|LATA| = max(|LATA MAX|, |LATA MIN|). At ≥ 0.28 g, AMM 05-51-44 also applies.
